The center engages in outreach activities to help recruit new students to NIU and help get them involved once they are on campus. Recruitment Intern will staff departmental informational tables at various campus open houses and events including: Friday Fest, Asian American Welcome Night, SA Expo, NIU Open Houses (Monday, October 10; Friday, November 11; Monday, February 20; Friday, April 14), a Minority Reception and Summer Orientation. Assistance with these programs will help inform and attract new students to NIU!
Responsibilities will include managing materials for informational tables, developing a team to assist with outreach, staffing informational tables at Holmes Student Center and DuSable Hall.
Internship includes some evening hours and occasional weekends.
