Every April, Northern Illinois University celebrates Asian American Heritage Month by collaborating with university departments and student organizations. To help create an inclusive environment, a team helps coordinate a variety of academic, cultural, leadership, and social events that highlight Asian American culture, heritage, and history which will be included in the month’s calendar.
Asian American Heritage Month Intern responsibilities include: assistance with planning the month’s events, reviewing and selecting program proposals, developing a calendar of events, publicizing the events, and involving student organizations.
Internship includes evening hours and occasional weekends.
