The "OHANA!" Program is a multi-faceted program that will assist students in their academic and leadership success at NIU.
NIU students enrolled in "OHANA!" will learn about academic resources, develop leadership skills, receive a grade check, engage in campus acitivites such as Huskie Service Scholars, SILD Leadership Institute, student organizations, cultural events, and more.
Students enrolled in "OHANA!" will be asked to set two academic goals each semester, attend at least 3 "OHANA!" meetings per semester and be a member of at least one "OHANA!" committee.
"OHANA!" Committees are:
- Cultural Education
- Peer Mentor
- Outreach/Public Relations
