Summer South East Asian Language Opportunity for Academic Credit

Description:   The Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute (SEASSI) will be held on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, June 18 to August 10, 2012.  Students complete a full academic year of language study over the eight-week session.  Instruction tailored for heritage language students is offered for Filipino, Hmong, Khmer, Lao, and Vietnamese.  Scholarship competitions are now open. 

Application Deadline for a Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship or a Heritage Language Award: February 15, 2012. 

Application Deadline for a Tuition Scholarship: April 16, 2012.
