Peer Mentor Interviews 

OHANA Peer Mentor Program was designed to assist first year Asian American students with their transition to college, develop a sense of belonging and racial identity at NIU, and encourage academic success and social well-being among first year Asian American college students. The Asian American Center developed the Peer Mentor Program, "OHANA!" to provide a welcoming environment and a "home away from home" atmosphere for first-year Asian American college Students. "OHANA means family and family means no one is left behind or forgotten!"
